Tranquil Hearts Home Care was founded to provide compassionate, dependable, person-centered care to seniors and adults who need additional support.
We offer two service options: non-medical home care throughout Southeast Michigan and our licensed Adult Foster Care home in Detroit.
Our approach is simple—treat every individual with dignity, respect, and compassion while providing the support they need to live as safely, comfortably, and independently as possible.

Tranquil Hearts is led by Vikita Franklin, LPN, Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), with an AAS in Mental Health/Social Work and more than 23 years of healthcare experience.
But my understanding of caregiving goes beyond my professional experience. I have experienced care from both sides—working in healthcare and caring for a loved one living with dementia. I understand what it means to navigate caregiving while also being a mother, daughter, sister, nurse, advocate, and business owner.
Those experiences have given me a deeper understanding of what families face when someone they love begins to need more support. There are appointments to manage, difficult decisions to make, changing behaviors to understand, and everyday responsibilities that don’t simply stop because someone you love needs care.
Tranquil Hearts was created with that understanding. Our goal is not only to care for the individual, but to provide families with dependable support, clear communication, and the reassurance that their loved one is being treated with dignity, patience, and compassion.
