A dedicated healthcare professional with over 23 combined years of experience in caregiving. Beginning her journey as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 13 years, she advanced as a Medical Assistant, Direct Care Worker, and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for over a decade in long-term care, rehab, and home care settings.

In addition to her clinical work, she holds certifications in CBT, DBT, Emotion Regulation, and is a Certified Dementia Educator. She earned her degree in Mental Health and Social Work, and currently serves as a Medicaid non-medical home care owner and Case Manager for the State of Michigan.

Her inspiration stems from witnessing several loved ones live with dementia. Also providing up close care with those with Dementia with and without behaviors.. She has seen firsthand how vulnerable individuals—particularly those with dementia and mental disabilities—are often overlooked. Her mission is to bring compassion, cultural awareness, and purposeful care back into the heart of long-term services. Through research and experience, she has created this playbook to guide others in building safe, stimulating, and dignified AFC homes.
